A modern cattle feedlot complex worth 4.3 billion tenge is under construction in the Kazygurt district of the Turkestan region, using American technologies. The project will have the capacity to accommodate 5,000 head of cattle for fattening at a time.
Construction of the complex, located on a 16-hectare site, began in 2025. The facility is being built in accordance with modern standards and will feature automated production processes, feed preparation facilities, animal care systems, and waste management systems.
The complex will be equipped in compliance with veterinary, sanitary, and technological requirements.
Five facilities are planned as part of the project, four of which have already been fully completed. The complex is scheduled to reach full operational capacity this year. The project is expected to create 30 permanent jobs.
Currently, 3,700 head of cattle have already been brought to the complex, of which 2,500 have completed the fattening process.
The project is expected to strengthen the livestock sector in the Kazygurt district and contribute to the development of the region's agro-industrial complex.
