Construction of the Turan Water Park, a modern water recreation complex, is progressing rapidly in the Turan Special Economic Zone in the city of Turkistan. The project is being implemented by Turkistan Onelee Cultural Tourism Investments Co. Ltd., with a total investment of KZT 13.4 billion.

Covering a total area of 11.7 hectares, the tourism and leisure complex will be developed in three phases. Construction began in March this year.

The first phase will include a visitor reception and registration center, changing facilities, water attractions, a swimming area, and a circular water park. The subsequent phases will feature family recreation areas, a hotel, a restaurant, internationally compliant water attractions, and large wave pools.

Once fully operational, the complex will be capable of welcoming up to 200,000 visitors annually while creating new employment opportunities for the region. The entire project is scheduled for completion in 2028.
