Turkestan region continues to attract investments in the agro-industrial sector, becoming a center of advanced agricultural technologies and international cooperation. Today, Akim of the region Nurlan Kusherov met with a group of investors from Korea. During the negotiations, the parties comprehensively discussed a number of important projects. The entrepreneurs presented plans to launch large-scale investment projects aimed at developing feed production, cattle breeding and rice cultivation using advanced Korean technologies. The implementation of the project will strengthen the agricultural potential of the region, create new jobs and introduce modern technologies into the agricultural sector.
Stressing the importance of introducing modern technologies into agricultural production, the head of the region focused on the special climatic conditions of the Turkestan region and shared plans for projects implemented in the field of agriculture. The Mayor noted that he intends to establish bilateral business relations with a specialized international agro-industrial company.
Joint projects can be implemented in the southern region of our region. Even in several districts, there are more than 1 million people. There is enough manpower. Our peasants can provide themselves with the products necessary for waste-free production. I also encourage the exchange of experience with local farmers using unique technological methods. The people of our region are very hardworking, they accept innovations well," said Nuralkhan Kusherov.
According to the instructions of the head of state, intensive work is underway in the Turkestan region to diversify agriculture, use water-saving technologies and new methods. The most important branch of the region's economy is agriculture, whose output exceeded 1 trillion tenge last year, and it is the country's leader in terms of manufactured products. This year, crops will be sown on 896 thousand hectares.
