Key project highlights:
Total investment: 42 billion tenge
Financing: Development Bank of Kazakhstan (23.5 billion tenge allocated in 2023)
Annual production capacity: 25,000 tons of tomatoes
Employment: 150 jobs currently created, with up to 800 positions expected upon full completion
Average official salary: 320 000-350 000 tenge
The complex spans 40 hectares and is equipped with advanced greenhouse technology imported from the Netherlands. Four of the eight greenhouse units are already operational. Construction is ongoing with the administrative building, production warehouses, checkpoint facility, boiler house and fuel storage tank completed.
The official launch of the complex is scheduled for spring 2026. Once fully operational, the project will supply the domestic market with high-quality vegetables year-round, generate substantial employment and make a meaningful contribution to the development of Kazakhstan’s agro-industrial sector.
