The Turkistan Region continues its systematic efforts to launch new production facilities and support investors through the development of industrial parks. This issue was discussed at a special meeting chaired by the Governor of the region, N. Kusherov.
The meeting was attended by district and city akims, as well as heads of relevant departments. During the meeting, participants reviewed the construction of industrial parks, the implementation of investment projects, and the provision of engineering infrastructure to these facilities.
To date, 29 small industrial parks have been established across the region where 275 production buildings are under construction. Of these, 150 have already been commissioned. A total of 269 investment projects with a combined value of KZT 226.9 billion have been formed within these industrial parks, of which 98 projects have already been implemented.
Industrial parks contribute to the diversification of the regional economy and the creation of new manufacturing enterprises. In the “Shaga” Industrial Park, businesses producing furniture, sandwich panels and metal products have been launched. In the Sauran District projects are being implemented in furniture manufacturing, construction materials production and metal processing.
In the Shardara District, facilities producing modular and capsule houses, thermal panels, façade materials, and decorative products have been opened. In the Otyrar District, enterprises manufacturing metal products, animal feed, freeze-dried fruits, and construction materials have begun operations.
In the Tolebi District, production of polyethylene products, plastic windows and doors, furniture, and construction materials has been established. In the Kazygurt District, projects involving the production of beehives, mattresses, and plastic recycling are being implemented. In the Zhetysai District, furniture manufacturing, metalworking, and welding workshops have been launched. In the Suzak District, four production projects have been commissioned, and completed facilities have been handed over to entrepreneurs.
In addition, work is ongoing to complete construction, provide engineering infrastructure, and accommodate investors in industrial parks located in the cities of Turkistan, Arys, and Kentau, as well as in the Ordabasy, Saryagash, Maktaaral, Keles, Sairam, Tulkibas, and Baidibek districts.
