In the Baidibek district «AMANAT AGRO BAIDYBEK» is implementing a large-scale project to build a cotton processing facility along with a plant for manufacturing drip irrigation systems. The total investment amounts to 2.4 billion tenge, and the planned annual capacity is up to 50,000 tons of cotton fiber.
The project will create 63 new jobs with 21 employees working per shift.
At present, 1,500 hectares have been allocated for cotton cultivation and sowing has already been completed on 700 hectares. A 20-hectare site has been designated for the construction of the plant. The area has been fenced and the raw material storage facility is 60% complete.
Additionally, 0.16 hectares have been allocated for the construction of a power substation. The connection point is located 4.4 kilometers from the Taskudyk substation.
Through this initiative «AMANAT AGRO BAIDYBEK» is elevating production standards and introducing advanced, sustainable technologies to the agricultural sector.
