International cooperation aimed at developing the construction industry and strengthening the industrial capacity of the Turkestan Region has entered a new stage.
Governor of the Turkestan Region N. Kusherov held a meeting with Mao Ting, General Director of Jiangxi Zhixin Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., and Peng Boheng, Head of International Business and Overseas Industrial Investment at the Huatong International Investment and Industrial Group.
During the meeting, the region's investment potential was presented, including the opportunities offered by its special economic and industrial zones, its strategic logistical location, and the government support measures available to investors.
The Governor emphasized that the region's key development priorities include deep processing of raw materials, the production of high value-added products, and the launch of new manufacturing facilities. Investors were also informed about the availability of the necessary industrial infrastructure and ready-to-use production sites.
The Chinese investors, in turn, expressed their interest in establishing a construction hub in the Turkestan Region and presented plans to launch modern manufacturing facilities for construction materials and sanitary ware. The implementation of these projects is expected to contribute to import substitution, increase production volumes, and create new jobs in the region.
As a result of the negotiations, the parties agreed to further expand investment cooperation, develop specific projects and strengthen mutually beneficial partnership.
Strengthening international partnerships will represent an important strategic step toward enhancing the investment attractiveness of the Turkestan Region and transforming it into one of the country's leading manufacturing centers for the construction industry.
