The Akim of Turkistan Region, Darkhan Satybaldy, held G2B meetings with investors who attended the international investment forum "TURKISTAN INVESTMENT AND TOURISM FORUM – 2024". The discussed projects offer vast opportunities to expand the range of products under the "Turkestan" brand.

Foreign investors emphasized the significance of the business forum in Turkestan, which has already become an important platform on the global stage, and expressed their gratitude for the favorable investment climate established in the region. The Akim had previously met with several company executives during his prior business trip to China.

The head of the region presented the investment potential of Turkestan Region and outlined the available government support, highlighting that primary attention is given to the development of the processing industry. In meetings with more than 50 participants, the Akim discussed opportunities for launching joint projects, noting the hard-working nature of the region's residents and the importance of creating new jobs. Special emphasis was also placed on production projects in the region’s agriculture-focused areas. Discussions with Chinese investors covered projects in construction, fertilizer production, solar energy generation, chemical processing, manufacturing of gas boilers, drones, establishment of shopping centers, and development of recreational areas. During the negotiations, it was noted that companies capable of producing internationally competitive products would receive necessary government support.
