Major industrial projects are being actively implemented in the Turkestan Region. During a meeting of the investment headquarters chaired by the Governor of the region N. Kusherov, new projects planned for implementation in 2026 were presented.

The following plants are planned to be launched within the special economic zones:

• production of agricultural machinery
• manufacturing of urea fertilizers and cottonseed oil
• production of PVC products and drip irrigation systems
• deep biomass processing
• manufacturing of transformer components

Within the special economic zone “TURAN” in the Sauran district, the following projects were introduced:

• a project by “BOSHIRAN XINJIANG” for the assembly and production of agricultural machinery
• plants by “Lihua Group” LLP for the production of urea fertilizers and cottonseed oil
• an innovative complex by “BAKS Innovations Inc. - CAESG Platform” for deep biomass processing and carbon sequestration

According to the results of 2025:

• the region attracted 1.7 trillion tenge in investments
• 58 projects worth 340 billion tenge were launched
• more than 8 000 new jobs were created
• economic growth reached 125.2% (1st place nationwide)

For 2026-2029 a pool of 122 investment projects with a total value of 2.7 trillion tenge has been formed.

Summing up the meeting the Governor of the region thanked investors for their trust in the region and their active cooperation. He emphasized that the implementation of all projects would remain under constant supervision, while the responsible authorities were instructed to provide comprehensive support to investors.

The Turkestan Region is becoming a center of manufacturing, investment, and new opportunities.
