Recently, with the support of "Turkistan Invest" a delegation from the Turkistan Region paid a working visit to China, where meetings were held with several major companies. As a continuation of the negotiations initiated during that trip, representatives of one of China’s leading manufacturing companies Henan Sulipu Cable Co., Ltd. arrived in Turkistan and discussed the implementation of a new investment project with the Governor of the region N. Kusherov.

According to the project, modern production facilities for cable products and the processing of non-ferrous metals will be established in the region.

The project will be implemented in two stages:

• at the first stage, a plant for the production of cable products and non-ferrous metal products will be constructed.
• at the second stage, a high-tech production complex for manufacturing lead and zinc oxides will be built;

The total investment volume will amount to KZT 8.5 billion. The implementation of this initiative will strengthen the industrial capacity of the Turkistan Region, create new jobs, and increase the output of export-oriented products.

The project will contribute to strengthening industrial cooperation between Kazakhstan and China and provide an additional boost to the sustainable economic development of the region. Furthermore, investors will gain access not only to the Kazakhstani market but also to the markets of Central Asia, China, Russia and Europe.

The Turkistan Region will continue to create favorable conditions for investors and provide comprehensive support for the successful implementation of industrial projects.
