Governor of the Turkestan Region Nuralkhan Kosherov met with Claude Imauven, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the ORANO Group.

During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to enhance the region’s investment potential, implement new joint projects, and train qualified specialists needed by industrial enterprises.

The Governor noted that, alongside attracting investment, particular attention is being paid to developing the local talent pool. In this regard, he proposed placing the region’s colleges under the company’s patronage and jointly training specialists required by industrial enterprises within the dual education system.

“For us, alongside attracting investment, the training of local specialists is also of great importance. The dual education system enables young people not only to acquire theoretical knowledge but also to gain practical experience directly in the workplace. Upon graduation, they also have the opportunity to secure permanent employment,” said Nuralkhan Kosherov.

In turn, Claude Imauven expressed interest in developing the partnership with the Turkestan Region and confirmed his readiness to further strengthen mutual cooperation.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue joint efforts to implement investment projects and train qualified personnel, as well as to further develop business ties.
