In the city of Kentau a major modernization project is underway at an industrial waste processing and ore beneficiation plant operated by «KazOilEnergy» LLP. The facility is expected to process up to 3 500 tons of non-ferrous ores annually with the project set to create approximately 1 500 new jobs. The implementation period spans from 2023 to 2027.
Currently, the 27-hectare site has been fully fenced and construction and installation works are actively in progress. Twelve mills and four crushing units have been completely restored. The main production building and administrative complex are 80% complete while a smaller workshop has already been finalized. Preparations are also ongoing for the installation and commissioning of processing equipment.
