NEGOTIATIONS HELD WITH SOUTH KOREAN COMPANIES

 

As part of the official visit of the Turkistan Region delegation to the Republic of Korea, Deputy Akim of Turkistan Region, Nuralkhan Kusherov, met with the Vice President of the Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL). During the negotiations, the parties discussed prospects and opportunities for cooperation in training highly qualified specialists in the field of transport communications. One of the key topics was the establishment of a specialized training center in Turkistan Region for the development of skills in the railway and transportation sectors.

Nuralkhan Kusherov emphasized the strategic importance of creating such a center to enhance the qualifications of specialists in transport infrastructure and technologies. He noted that having highly skilled personnel is crucial for the effective development of the region’s transport and logistics infrastructure and strengthening Turkistan Region’s connections with other regions and countries.

The Vice President of Korea Railroad Corporation expressed readiness to cooperate and proposed thoroughly exploring joint work opportunities with the operator "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" to organize educational programs and training in Turkistan Region. He also highlighted that the experience of the Korea Railroad Corporation could significantly contribute to the development of Kazakhstan’s railway and transportation sectors. This project represents an important step in improving the quality of workforce training for the transport industry in Turkistan Region and will further strengthen cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea in the fields of high technology and infrastructure development.

Additionally, Deputy Akim of Turkistan Region, Nuralkhan Kusherov, met with the Deputy Mayor of Daejeon City in Chungcheongnam-do Province, Mr. Jang Ho-Jong. Daejeon is the administrative center of Chungcheongnam-do Province and the fifth-largest city in South Korea, with a population of 1.5 million people. It is also recognized as the scientific and technological capital of South Korea. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, particularly the development of connections in the fields of economy, science, and technology. They explored ways to strengthen partnership relations, implement joint projects, and exchange experiences.
