AN ANIMAL BONE DEEP-PROCESSING PLANT TO BE LAUNCHED IN THE TURKESTAN REGION

Governor of the Turkestan Region Nuralkhan Kusherov reviewed the progress of construction of a plant being built by Huating Biotechnology Co., LTD in the Ordabasy District. The facility will specialize in the deep processing of animal bones and the production of fat and gelatin components.

The plant, under construction in the settlement of Temirlan, is aimed at ensuring the efficient utilization of livestock waste and the deep processing of locally sourced raw materials. The facility is expected to produce fat and gelatin components from animal bones. The company is also considering the possibility of grinding bones for use in the production of various containers and other products, as well as animal feed.

The total investment cost of the project amounts to KZT 9 billion. KZT 2.5 billion has been invested at the first stage. The launch of the first phase is scheduled for September this year, with 30 jobs expected to be created initially.

Once the plant reaches full capacity, it is expected to produce 5,000 tonnes of fat and gelatin components annually. Upon full implementation of the project, 100 new jobs will be created.

Construction and installation works at the plant have now been completed, and the main technological equipment has been installed. Commissioning and start-up activities are currently underway.

In the future, the investor plans to expand production. In particular, the company is exploring the possibility of utilizing animal blood and producing additional products from it.

During the meeting, the regional governor suggested considering the supply of animal bones collected from livestock feedlots across the region to the plant. This would enable more efficient use of local raw materials and expand the agricultural processing value chain.
