A groundbreaking ceremony and time capsule laying were held for a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility of Orzax Central Asia LLP, which will produce dietary supplements and encapsulated vitamins. The plant will be located in the Orangay subzone of the Turan Special Economic Zone in the Sauran District of the Turkestan Region.

The project is one of the largest investment initiatives aimed at developing the pharmaceutical industry in the Turkestan Region, promoting import substitution and strengthening Kazakhstan’s export potential.

The ceremony was attended by Nuralkhan Kusherov, Governor of the Turkestan Region, who emphasized the strategic importance of such projects for the development of high-tech manufacturing, attracting investment and creating new permanent jobs in the region.

Selman Alimoglu, Founder of Orzax Central Asia LLP, expressed his gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Government of the Turkestan Region and all project partners for their support in implementing this investment initiative. He noted that construction of the plant would be completed within the established timeframe and that the new facility would become an important driver of the domestic pharmaceutical industry while strengthening the region’s export capacity.

The project is being implemented within the Turan Special Economic Zone in the Sauran District. A 10-hectare land plot has been allocated for the construction of the facility. The total investment amounts to KZT 20.4 billion. Construction and installation works are scheduled for 2026-2027. Once operational, the plant will be capable of producing up to 464 million units of dietary supplements annually. In addition, the project is expected to create approximately 500 permanent jobs.
