THE INDUSTRIAL POTENTIAL OF TURKESTAN REGION HAS BEEN STRENGTHENED WITH A MODERN LAMINATE MANUFACTURING PLANT

A modern laminate manufacturing plant operated by Qaz Natural Laminat LLP has officially commenced operations within the TURAN Special Economic Zone in the Turkestan Region.

The total investment in the project amounted to KZT 5 billion. The plant has an annual production capacity of up to 840,000 square meters of laminate. During the first phase, 65 permanent jobs have been created, with the workforce expected to increase to 150 employees following the launch of the second phase.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Governor of the Turkestan Region N. Kusherov who noted that, in line with the instructions of the Head of State on economic diversification, the development of the manufacturing industry, and import substitution, the region is consistently implementing new industrial projects.

The new production facility is aimed at supplying the domestic construction materials market with high-quality products, reducing dependence on imports and meeting local demand. In the future, the company plans to export its products to the countries of Central Asia and other international markets.

The Director of Qaz Natural Laminat LLP Luo Yong expressed his gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Government of the Turkestan Region and the project’s partners for their support during the implementation of the investment project. He noted that the plant is equipped with modern technologies that meet international quality standards, and that the company plans to gradually increase production capacity and expand its export geography.

This project is one of the key initiatives aimed at developing regional manufacturing and enhancing the competitiveness of the processing industry.

Turkistan Invest will continue its systematic efforts to attract investment, facilitate the establishment of new manufacturing facilities and provide comprehensive support for investment projects across the region.
