Deputy Governor of the Turkestan Region K. Kaiypbek held a meeting with Liu Chuanyue, a member of the Council of the China Society for WTO Studies and founder and president of the business consulting firm «Huahe International».

The meeting was attended by heads of regional departments as well as executives of major Chinese companies in the fields of industry, construction, energy and trade.

The parties emphasized the importance of the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and China. Discussed opportunities to expand trade and economic cooperation and develop mutually beneficial business ties. In particular, they reviewed prospects for implementing joint projects in areas such as deep processing of agricultural products, production of construction materials, mining, development of industrial cooperation and the establishment of new enterprises.

The Deputy Governor presented the investment potential of the region and highlighted the favorable conditions created for investors. Currently, the region has 21 industrial zones, small industrial parks and special economic zones that offer tax and customs incentives. In addition, the Turkestan Region is one of the country’s leading regions in agricultural production and has significant potential for developing processing industries.

“The Turkestan region is a strategic region with high economic potential. We are ready to provide comprehensive support for the implementation of joint projects” - the Deputy Governor noted.
