At a weekly staff meeting chaired by the Governor of the Turkestan region N. Kusherov, the current state of industrial zones and the progress of investment projects were discussed.

During the meeting the Head of the Regional Department of Industry and Industrial-Innovative Development N. Isaev presented key indicators of the region’s development.

As of today in the region:
• 98 investment projects are being implemented with a total value of 132,3 billion tenge;
• 55 projects worth 59.8 billion tenge have already been launched, creating 3 454 jobs;
• The remaining 43 projects are under implementation and are expected to create an additional 2,547 jobs upon completion.

By the end of 2025 enterprises in the industrial zones achieved:
• Total production output of 26.2 billion tenge;
• Tax revenues to the budget amounting to 1.7 billion tenge;
• Infrastructure investments totaling 12.4 billion tenge;
• For every 1 tenge of public funds, 10.7 tenge of private investment were attracted.

In addition, following the Governor’s directive, the «Turkestan-2» industrial park has been established and legal registration of 150 hectares of land plots is currently underway.

During the meeting, the Akim issued a number of specific instructions to accelerate project implementation, develop infrastructure, and attract further investment, while also acknowledging the work of several district and city akims.

The main goal is to diversify the economy, enhance production capacity and create stable employment opportunities for the population.
