TURKESTAN | ORDABASY: INVESTMENTS AND NEW INDUSTRIAL PROJECTS

During a meeting of the investment headquarters chaired by the Governor of the Turkestan Region N. Kusherov were presented the key investment projects of Ordabasy District. The district Akim, A. Oralbayev, reported on ongoing efforts to attract investments and develop the manufacturing sector.

Last year, the district implemented five investment projects totaling 11.5 billion tenge, which resulted in the creation of 364 new jobs. These include a brick production plant, an aluminum profile manufacturing facility, and innovative reinforced concrete production enterprises.

Over the past four years, 173.8 billion tenge in investments have been attracted to the district’s economy, of which 59.6 billion tenge were utilized in 2025, indicating a growth in investment activity.

Plans for 2026 include:

the implementation of 57 projects with a total value of 55 billion tenge, creating more than 1,160 jobs. The projects cover the industrial, agricultural, energy, small business, and tourism sectors.

Special focus is being placed on the development of the Badam Industrial Zone and the Temirlan Industrial Park, with phased efforts underway to provide the necessary infrastructure.

Furthermore, under the cooperation framework with China, joint projects are being carried out in the manufacturing, agro-industrial, and innovation sectors.

As a result of the meeting, the Governor of the region, N. Kusherov, directed that investment projects be carried out promptly and efficiently, with particular emphasis on job creation.
