Akim of Turkestan region Nuralkhan Kusherov received a delegation led by Federico Pugliese, General Director of the Italian energy company Eni Plenitude ArmWind LLP in Kazakhstan. During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation.An international energy company engaged in the production of alternative energy has completed the construction of the Shaulder solar power plant with a capacity of 50 MW in the Otrarsky district of the Turkestan region. This, in turn, makes it possible to produce electricity without polluting the environment. During the meeting, the sides discussed the potential of this project and its possible development.

The use of energy conservation and renewable energy sources in the development of industry was also discussed. Discussions were held with an Italian company at the Kultobe archaeological site about the possibility of installing 3D mapping equipment. The Governor of the region stressed the importance of this work for the region and noted his willingness to support projects aimed at the development of the region. The CEO of ArmWind, in turn, proposed to continue this fruitful cooperation in order to explore new opportunities in the field of renewable energy sources that will contribute to the development of the region by increasing the local workforce and technical skills, as well as in accordance with ArmWind's mission for sustainable development.

It should be noted that the Italian company Eni Plenitude Warm Wind has installed a 50 kW solar power plant in a school in Turkestan, as well as implemented other measures to improve energy efficiency.
