This announcement was made by the Akim of Turkistan Region, Darkhan Satybaldy, during an on-site press conference of the Central Communications Service held in Turkistan. The "Small Industrial Park" project is being implemented in the Turkistan Region for the first time.
– If we look at the history of the world's most economically developed countries, we see that their path to prosperity began with industrialization. If we can establish modern enterprises that will give a new impetus to the industry, we will strengthen our economic independence. Most importantly, the work at these factories and plants will transform people's mindsets, uplift their spirits, and increase the share of domestic products in the market. That is why I am proud to announce the creation of the "Small Industrial Park" project in our region, covering an area of 100 hectares. As part of the project, 308 billion tenge will be attracted in investments, 151 production facilities will be built, and nearly 6,000 new jobs will be created. The project is expected to generate 2 billion tenge in annual tax revenues. To date, 10 facilities have been constructed, 8 enterprises have been launched, and 712 jobs have been created, – said Darkhan Satybaldy.
The small industrial park accommodates enterprises engaged in the production of sprinkler irrigation systems, as well as facilities dedicated to manufacturing furniture, refrigeration equipment, and construction materials. Technologies for water conservation, which were previously imported exclusively from abroad, are now being domestically produced in Turkistan. Furthermore, companies operating within the park have commenced exporting these water-saving technologies to other regions of Kazakhstan.
