An industrial enterprise for the production of dried fruits using new technology will be established in the Turkestan region. Afghan investors will invest 1 million US dollars in the new project.
Today, the Chairman of the Management Board of Turkestan Invest LLP, Berik Kenzhebayev, met with a foreign investor. As a result, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between JSC SEC Turkestan, LLP Turkistan Invest Itedaa, and LLP Talifa.
Berik Kenzhebayev and the foreign investor visited small industrial parks and storage warehouses on the territory of the ecomarket.
The main goal of the investment project is to produce high-demand dried finished products in the region and provide local residents with fruits. The project also aims to export dried fruits to foreign countries under the brand «Made in Kazakhstan.»
To prepare a wide range of dried fruits, it is planned to introduce and distribute innovative technology among local cooperatives and private farms.
The large-scale project will also provide additional employment opportunities. If fully implemented, the project will create jobs for 70 local residents.
