A new cotton processing and cottonseed oil production plant, “TABIGI MAY,” owned by “Khamro Ata” LLP has opened in the Maktaaral District of the Turkestan Region. The opening ceremony was attended by Nuralkhan Kusherov Governor of the Turkestan Region.

The regional governor emphasized the importance of deep agricultural processing and the development of domestic production for the region’s economy. The new facility will enable cotton raw materials to be processed locally and converted into products with high added value.

The total investment in the project amounts to 1.5 billion tenge. The launch of the plant has created 36 permanent jobs.

The plant’s operations are expected to increase cotton processing volumes in the Maktaaral District support the development of local manufacturing and provide residents with stable employment.
