Two new high-tech production facilities belonging to the Kentau Cable Industries group of companies have been officially inaugurated in the Turan Special Economic Zone in the city of Kentau, Turkistan Region. The newly launched facilities include the Kentau Cable Industries plant, which manufactures optical fiber cables for high-speed internet networks and the ElectroCore plant, which produces metal enclosures for electrical equipment.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Governor of the Turkistan Region, N. Kusherov, who emphasized the strategic importance of these projects for the region’s industrial development and economic growth. According to him, the new facilities will not only create jobs but also contribute to deeper industrial processing and increase the share of domestically manufactured products.

The Director of Kentau Cable Industries LLP and ElectroCore LLP, A. Baimyrza, highlighted the advanced technological capabilities of the enterprises. The companies’ key objectives include:

• supplying the domestic market with high-quality locally manufactured products
• expanding into export markets
• gradually increasing production capacity
• broadening the product range
• creating new jobs

He also expressed his gratitude to the President of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of the Turkistan Region, and the project partners for their support in implementing these initiatives.

Kentau Cable Industries LLP manufactures optical fiber cables for high-speed internet infrastructure. The project investment amounts to KZT 1.7 billion. The plant has an annual production capacity of 33,000 kilometers of optical fiber cable and 12,000 kilometers of microduct bundles. Approximately 100 employees work at the facility on a permanent basis. The plant operates a full-cycle manufacturing process and is equipped with automated systems based on equipment from leading global manufacturers, including Siemens, Bosch, ADVANTECH, and Panasonic.

The second project, ElectroCore LLP, manufactures metal enclosures for electrical equipment. The investment volume totals KZT 1.5 billion, with an annual production capacity of 12,000 units. The project has created approximately 100 new jobs.
