A significant meeting aimed at developing international partnership was held in the Turkestan Region. The Deputy Akim of the region, K. Kaiypbek, received an official delegation of the Republic of Austria, where the parties discussed the expansion of bilateral cooperation and investment opportunities.

The meeting was attended by Vice President of the Austrian Agricultural Cluster H. Wieser, Trade Attaché of the Austrian Embassy D. Pölzleitner, as well as a representative of Bertsch Group M. Nurmatov.

During the negotiations, information was presented on the agricultural potential of the Turkestan Region, the region’s raw material base, available investment sites as well as support measures and investor incentives.

In turn, the Austrian side proposed developing mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of agriculture, logistics, packaging production, and tourism. Specific initiatives were voiced, and interest in implementing joint projects was expressed.

The parties also considered opportunities for training farmers in Austria, exchanging experience and holding a business forum with the participation of entrepreneurs from both countries.

Following the meeting, the participants confirmed their readiness to develop long-term partnership and implement joint initiatives.
