Governor of the Turkestan Region Nuralkhan Kusherov met with the Mayor of Izmir, Republic of T\u00fcrkiye, Cemil Tugay. During the meeting, the parties discussed attracting investment, developing tourism, expanding trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties and strengthening interregional cooperation.<\/p>\n

The head of the region presented the investment potential of the Turkestan Region and highlighted several major development projects currently underway, emphasizing the importance of elevating the partnership between the regions of Kazakhstan and T\u00fcrkiye to a new level.<\/p>\n

\"Turkestan is the spiritual center of the entire Turkic world. With the support of the Head of State, our region is developing dynamically: transport and engineering infrastructure is being modernized, while tourism and social facilities that meet international standards are being commissioned. We are ready to exchange experience with Izmir, implement joint investment projects, and further develop mutually beneficial cooperation,\" the Governor stated.<\/p>\n

For his part, Cemil Tugay emphasized the special significance of the historical and spiritual ties between Kazakhstan and T\u00fcrkiye. He also expressed Izmir's interest in strengthening cooperation with the Turkestan Region in the areas of investment, tourism, education, and the exchange of expertise.<\/p>\n

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue working on joint projects, expand business contacts, and further strengthen interregional cooperation.<\/p>\n

Izmir is one of T\u00fcrkiye's leading industrial, commercial, logistics and agricultural centers. The city is renowned for its achievements in industrial production, international trade, maritime logistics, tourism, innovation and urban governance.<\/p>\n
