Systematic work on attracting investments continues in the Turkestan region. This year, the target investment indicator for the region has been set at 1 trillion 783.9 billion tenge. Over the past 5 months, the region has attracted 614.2 billion tenge in investments, representing a growth rate of 150.5%.<\/p>\n

In addition, by the end of 2025, the volume of foreign direct investment reached 1 billion 998.2 million US dollars, which is four times higher than the annual plan. With this result, the Turkestan region ranks first in the country. The target for attracting foreign direct investment for 2026 is set at 499 million US dollars.<\/p>\n

This was reported at an administrative meeting chaired by the regional governor N. Kusherov. The head of the region instructed responsible officials to strengthen work on attracting and supporting investors, as well as to create favorable conditions for entrepreneurs. He also emphasized that each investment project will be under his personal control.<\/p>\n

According to him, the portfolio of investment projects in the region has been reviewed and updated. As a result, a portfolio of 122 investment projects worth 2.8 trillion tenge has been formed for implementation in 2026-2029. These projects are expected to create 17,820 jobs. Of these, 30 projects worth 608.9 billion tenge are being implemented with foreign capital, and once fully launched, they will create 7,799 jobs.<\/p>\n

In the current year, 67 investment projects worth 369.4 billion tenge have been selected. Over the past 5 months, 11 projects worth a total of 42.4 billion tenge have been launched, creating 407 jobs as a result.<\/p>\n
