A regular meeting of the regional investment headquarters was held at the administration of the Turkestan region under the chairmanship of Governor N. Kusherov. The meeting was attended by all district and city akims of the region. The agenda focused on attracting investment, improving the investment climate and ensuring systematic support for new projects. The Governor personally reviewed the proposals and challenges presented by each investor.<\/p>\n
The following major investment projects were presented during the meeting:<\/p>\n
Ordabasy, Tulkibas, Sozaq, and Kazygurt districts: A group of companies within \u00abSouths Oil\u00bb LLP is implementing Phase I and II of an oil refinery construction project, developing the Sastobe innovation complex, building a cascade of hydropower plants on the Ogem River, constructing a phosphorite ore processing plant, and developing a gas-fired power station.<\/p>\n
Turkestan city: \u00abPSI Machinery\u00bb LLP is constructing a heavy equipment manufacturing plant for the mining and metallurgical industry.<\/p>\n
Sozak district: \u00abTAIQONYR QYSHQYL ZAUYTY\u00bb LLP is building a sulfuric acid production plant.<\/p>\n
Sauran district: \u00abORZAX CENTRAL ASIA\u00bb LLP is launching a production facility for dietary supplements and vitamins.<\/p>\n
Kentau city: \u00ab\u041a\u041a\u0421\u00bb LLP is constructing a gas turbine power plant.<\/p>\n
Baidybek district: \u00abNew Clean Energy\u00bb LLP is developing a wind power plant project.<\/p>\n
In addition, in the Sauran district \u00abKazMunayGas-Aero\u00bb LLP plans to build a storage base for fuel and energy materials including JET A-1 aviation fuel.<\/p>\n
The Governor instructed that each investment project be placed under continuous supervision with infrastructure issues addressed promptly and comprehensive support provided to investors. Project oversight has been strengthened with clear deadlines established and responsible officials appointed. In accordance with the Governor\u2019s directive, district and city akims are fully accountable for ensuring effective investor support and the timely, high-quality implementation of projects within their jurisdictions.<\/p>\n
